1. Who We Are

Pick Me a Fit("we", "us", "our") operates the website pickmeafit.com and is the data controller responsible for your personal data. You can contact us at hello@pickmeafit.com.

2. Data We Collect

We collect the following personal data when you use our Service:

  • Account information: email address and authentication data when you sign up
  • Profile information: clothing sizes, style preferences, body measurements, fit preferences, and budget preferences you provide
  • Photos: images you upload for virtual try-on
  • Chat data: conversations with our AI stylist
  • Outfit feedback: whether you would wear a recommended outfit and any reasons you choose for rejecting it
  • Payment information: processed securely by Stripe — we do not store your card details
  • Usage and event data: how you interact with the Service, such as pages visited, features used, signup and checkout events, outfit-generation status, fit-quality counts, item categories or prices clicked, and advertising click IDs

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

  • Provide and improve the Service, including AI styling recommendations
  • Generate virtual try-on images using your uploaded photos
  • Process your subscription and payments
  • Communicate with you about your account and the Service
  • Analyse usage to improve our features
  • Personalise future recommendations using your own outfit feedback

Our legal basis for processing is: performance of our contract with you (providing the Service), your consent (photo uploads), and our legitimate interests (improving the Service and preventing abuse).

Outfit feedback improves your own recommendations as part of the Service. It is used to improve recommendations for everyone only when you actively select the separate anonymised-feedback option. You can withdraw that permission on the outfit at any time. Global training examples do not include your account identifier, profile photo, uploaded photo, or virtual try-on image.

4. Third Parties

We share data with the following third-party services:

  • Supabase: hosts our database and stores your account data, chat history, and uploaded photos
  • Stripe: processes subscription payments securely
  • eBay: we query eBay to source product listings — we do not send your account profile, photos or chat history to eBay when sourcing listings. If you click an outbound eBay link, eBay and affiliate networks may receive click, referrer and purchase-attribution data under their own terms
  • AI providers: your style preferences and chat messages, clothing sizes, body measurements, fit preferences, and relevant item/listing details are sent to our AI provider to generate styling and fit recommendations. Photos are processed for virtual try-on when you upload them
  • Vercel: hosts our website and may collect anonymised analytics data
  • Analytics and advertising platforms: Google, TikTok, Reddit, or similar services may receive event data when you accept non-essential cookies. This may include page URLs, cookie or advertising click IDs, event names, outfit readiness such as buy-ready or style-preview status, limited fit-quality counts, and eBay item category or price metadata. We do not send uploaded photos, full chat messages, body measurements, or payment card details to advertising pixels

We do not sell your personal data to any third party.

5. Data Storage and Retention

Your data is stored on servers provided by Supabase and Vercel. Data may be transferred outside the UK where our service providers operate — in such cases, appropriate safeguards are in place.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account from your profile, your account-linked data and uploaded photos are removed immediately. Payment and transaction records may be retained where required by law. You can also ask us to erase data manually; we will complete verified requests within 30 days.

6. Your Rights

Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR), you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Rectify inaccurate personal data
  • Erase your personal data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Restrict processing of your data
  • Port your data to another service
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interests
  • Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@pickmeafit.com. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

8. Children

The Service is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

10. Contact

If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your data, contact us at hello@pickmeafit.com.
